The doctor tells you which toxin brand at the assessment, and it goes on your consent form. Always ask: units from two brands are not equivalent — one unit of Botox is roughly 2.5 to 3 of Dysport — so a number of units without the brand next to it does not tell you how much you were given.

What is included

• The assessment with the partner physician before anything is applied.
• The application of the toxin, using product with a current INVIMA health registration.
• The follow-up on day 14, which is when the effect peaks.
• The touch-up at that follow-up, if the doctor finds it necessary.

What is NOT included

• Units beyond what you bought: if at the assessment the doctor finds your area needs more, you are told right there and you decide, before anything is applied.
• Areas you did not buy, and those outside the upper third: bruxism or masseters, underarm sweating, neck and lip contour are quoted separately.
• Hyaluronic acid fillers and any other treatment discussed during the consultation.
• Getting yourself to the office in Medellín.

When it is not applied

• There is a skin infection exactly where the injection would go.
• You already know you are allergic to botulinum toxin or to any of its components.

Medline does not apply the treatment: a partner physician does, at their own office. No aesthetic professional is published in the directory yet; whoever attends you is named to you before the appointment.
